Adina’s Story
Raised in the village of Questelles in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Adina grew up surrounded by the island’s living tradition of bush medicine, deeply influenced by her parents, Tyrell — known to everyone as Brother T — and Annie Williams. Her path from nanny to herbalist is one of transformation, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to wellness.
The Turning Point
In 2014, a breast cancer diagnosis changed everything. While undergoing conventional care, Adina went searching for something deeper — something natural, aligned with the body’s rhythms. That search led her to the teachings of the renowned herbalist Dr. Sebi. Inspired by his philosophies, she committed to a rigorous 44-day herbal cleanse and complete lifestyle transformation — and made a full recovery. Her doctors were amazed. She had found her life’s mission.
Becoming a Master Herbalist
Adina turned her healing into scholarship, dedicating herself to the formal study of herbology and the human body, and earning her title of Master Herbalist in 2017. Today she personally formulates all 60 of DNA Global Herbs’ products — blending Caribbean herbal heritage with dedicated study.
